The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian, known locally as the “Caley” is one of Edinburgh’s most significant landmarks.  This former Victorian Railway Hotel nestles in the shadow of the imposing Edinburgh Castle and its reputation for style and excellence has attracted international visitors and notable personalities for over a hundred years.

The hotel has two award winning restaurants created by the Michelin-starred Galvin Brothers – the Pompadour by Galvin, and Galvin Brasserie de Luxe.

Treat yourself to some of the finest scotch whiskies at the Caley Bar.

At the Guerlain Spa, you enjoy the luxury relaxation, home to a luxurious swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath and a state of the art gym.

I stayed in the Hotel and had a wonderful time. The staff is very professional and friendly. The hotel has a Wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning is amazing and fantastic. I enjoyed so much the delicious lunch in the Pompadour and my spa treatment.

I highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian when you are planning to see Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is Scotland’s compact, hilly Capital. It has a medieval old Town and the elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Looming over the city is Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotland’s Crown Jewels.
