When in Athens, Greece, it is a city with the most glorious history in the world. Athens is situated in The Prefecture of Attica, and extends to The Peninsula that reaches up to central Greece. It is surrounded by Mountains. The sun is shining over Athens all year round. The climate is one of the best of Europe, with it’s mild winters and very hot summers.
Athens and Attica in general have the most important Archaeological monuments ( Acropolis, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Olympian, Roman Market, Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro.
Many imposing neoclassic Buildings. True Ornaments of The City. The Greek Parliament and many Museums hosting unique Treasures of Cultural Inheritance.
Athens is also very famous for it’s night life. I stayed in Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel. In the morning at The Executive Lounge an excellent Breakfast on the Balcony with the View of The Acropolis was really fantastic.
Classic, aristocratic, contemporary, modern. The Athenaeum InterContinental– in the heart of the city, just steps from the center, impressive in its attention to detail, meticulously designed for accommodation, dining and event organization- exudes an unparalleled sense of well-being, and embraces each guest with its characteristic expertise and inimitable refinement.
I highly recommend this Hotel. A very professional and friendly staff. It made my stay just wonderful. Jantiena Fieyra
